Qualifications:• Thoroughly skillful in AutoCAD and Inventor 3D drafting of engineering drawings• Knowledge of Drafting CAD Standards, including creating CAD Standards Libraries, Paper/Model Space, and Plotting/Publishing• Must be familiar with piping specifications, administrative and technical practices, design instructions, plot plans, flow diagrams and interpreting vendor information• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel and Microsoft Outlook• Highly motivated, eager to contribute to the establishment of an effective and efficient design/drafting team• Ability to work and collaborate in a group environment.• Must be a team player• Must be detailed oriented.• Ability to maintain professionalism at all times.• Good verbal and written communication skills.• Field Experience a plusResponsibilities:• Assist Project and Applications Engineers with initial design and final design solutions on projects and proposals• Develops Equipment General Arrangement drawings as well as Plant Layouts• Conceptualize plans, details, and sections to accurately convey construction or fabrication requirements• Prepare and develop 2D CAD designs under the supervision of the lead piping designer or engineer• Develops 3D models of fabricated, skidded systems for shop assembly• Ensure compliance with approve design standards, to provide quality design• Coordinate vendor supplied drawings orinformation into project drawings• Draft piping drawings and isometrics• Prepare Bill of Material• Communicate and interface with other engineering disciplines
