Astrion is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Missile Defense Agency project at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. The role emphasizes systems engineering, test support, and rigorous documentation.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 0–2 years of related experience, be a U.S. citizen, and possess or be able to obtain an active Secret clearance. The position is full-time with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 0-2 years of related experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsabilités

• Supports systems engineering processes to provide engineering inputs and responses for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex systems.
• Participates in test engineering efforts to develop recommendations and improvements for system development and support.
• Analyzes and summarizes system performance characteristics.
• Evaluates system software modifications to address malfunctions or changes in requirements.
• Develops schematics/drawings to depict data flow and ensure specifications are used.
• Writes and maintains documentation per requirements.
• Produces reports including evaluation plans and test results to support conclusions.
• Some travel may be required.
• Ad-hoc support as required.
