Job summary

Instant Teams is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Denver to design mechanical components used in tactical robotic systems. You will work with a dedicated team to create innovative solutions that make a real impact in defense and public safety.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of professional design experience, particularly with SolidWorks. You will produce CAD models, lead design reviews, and ensure manufacturability of designs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional mechanical design experience.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
• Experience applying DFM/DFA principles in a professional context.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies.
• Produce accurate 3D CAD models and GD&T-annotated drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver well-integrated designs.

Skills

3D CAD skills in SolidWorks

Good written and verbal communication skills

Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes

Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles

Education
