Job summary

Amphenol Alden seeks a Mechanical Engineer – Sustaining to support product life cycles, improve manufacturability, and drive cost-saving initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to resolve design and production challenges and keep documentation up to date.

The role emphasizes modifying existing products, creating CAD models and drawings, and implementing engineering changes while maintaining high quality and reliability in medical interconnect solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering or related field; bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related engineering experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks CAD software and ePDM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support established product lines throughout their life cycle.
• Investigate product questions and resolve design and production issues.
• Develop extensions and modifications to improve performance and cost.
• Create/update 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and technical documents.
• Prepare and support engineering change requests and communicate changes to customers.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities while maintaining quality.
