The role emphasizes energy-efficient design, adherence to codes, and coordination with architects and contractors. A passion for sustainability and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering (or related field).
• EIT certification and proficiency in industry software (Revit, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, IES VE, Navisworks).

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems from concept through construction.
• Develop energy-efficient, client-focused solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and owners from start to finish.
• Conduct site visits, prepare drawings and specifications, provide construction support.
• Review documents and submittals for code compliance and design integrity.
• Contribute to energy performance and sustainability initiatives (LEED/Green Globes).
• Engage with clients and team to define goals and resolve challenges.
