Job summary

Remedy Robotics, a medical technology company in San Francisco, is designing robotic systems for endovascular intervention. We’re seeking a motivated mechanical engineer to design key components of a novel, life-saving surgical robot and contribute across the design cycle from concept to production.

You’ll use OnShape and SolidWorks for 3D modeling, perform basic analyses, and produce specifications, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience.
• Experience designing mechanisms.
• Strong 3D modeling and structural analysis skills (OnShape, SolidWorks, FEA).
• Proficient with hand tools and prototyping equipment.
• Clear, concise communication; eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanisms for a surgical robot and single-use tools.
• Develop conceptual and detailed designs for prototypes and production machines.
• Create specifications, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Run subsystem tests, develop test plans, and analyze results.
• Rapidly produce proof-of-concept hardware for R&D projects.
