Qualifications

• Hands-on troubleshooting across mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience planning and managing capital projects and installations.
• Ability to coordinate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, improve, and optimize mechanical and hydraulic systems across the facility.
• Lead reliability and continuous improvement initiatives to boost uptime and efficiency.
• Support and manage melting and steelmaking equipment upgrades and installations.
• Provide engineering input for large baghouse and environmental systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead projects from concept through installation, commissioning, and completion.
• Develop detailed scopes, specs, bid packages, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Evaluate suppliers, review proposals, and oversee outside resources.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects moving.
