Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical design and analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or similar.
• Experience operating CAD and/or FEA software.
• Strong understanding of hardware manufacturability and GD&T.
• Willingness to travel 10–25% to other sites and customers.
• Ability to obtain and hold a Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD design activities for mechanical components.
• Conduct structural and thermal FEA analyses of systems.
• Create and review engineering drawings and definitions.
• Document analyses and supporting work in reports/presentations.
• Present findings in design reviews with peers and customers.
• Support prototyping, manufacturing, and testing at facilities.
