You Have

• 7+ years of experience working in hardware design, prototyping, 3D modeling, and computer-aided design (CAD)
• Experience with engineering software, including Creo, Creo Simulation, or multiphysics software
• Knowledge of engineering and physics principles as they apply to hardware design and product development
• Ability to develop technical documentation, including technical drawings and written technical documentation
• Ability to collaborate with an integrated product team, including a variety of technical and non-technical teammates
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Nice If You Have

• Experience with prototyping and integration related to electromechanical systems
• Experience designing large electro-mechanical systems and sub-modules
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) or modeling and simulation activities
• Experience with lab-based developmental testing and test data acquisition
• Knowledge of product design for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, injection molding, ruggedization, and exposure to extreme environments

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
