Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Industrial Engineer to design and implement new technologies, systems, and processes to improve plant production and efficiency. You will manage the technical aspects of new product builds in support of Production, Quality, and Design Engineering, applying industry knowledge and engineering drawings.

You will work independently with some guidance, review activities of junior staff, and lead cross-functional teams to create manufacturing processes and procedures

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or production engineering in an assembly or fabrication environment.
• Experience leading the implementation or overseer of production tracking software, systems, or automated OEE collection data methods.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing concepts in a production environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Ability to create manufacturing processes and procedures from technical data or engineering drawings and models.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Industrial Engineer

The Opportunity:

Design and implement new technologies, systems, and processes to improve plant production and efficiency. Manage the technical aspects of new product builds in support of Production, Quality, and Design Engineering. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. Review or guide activities of more junior employees and technicians.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or production engineering in an assembly or fabrication environment
• Experience leading the implementation or the overseer of production tracking software, systems, or automated Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) collection data methods
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing concepts in a production environment
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams
• Ability to create manufacturing processes and procedures from technical data or engineering drawings and models
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
