Digital Engineer, Junior The Opportunity: Create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models of products from concept throughout the product lifecycle. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts, including limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity, and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision.

You Have:

• Experience with the systems engineering process, including requirements development, system design, implementation, integration, testing, verification and validation (V&V), or sustainment activities
• Experience with Agile principles and development methodologies
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles, lifecycle processes, and engineering methodologies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including software, hardware, and test engineers
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity

Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with digital engineering in academic, internship, or research environments
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw
• Experience creating technical documentation such as requirements, design documents, interface descriptions, test procedures, or engineering reports, through coursework, capstone projects, or internships
• Experience identifying project risks and supporting mitigation activities
• Knowledge of System of Systems (SoS) or Family of Systems (FoS) concepts
• Possession of excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Cybersecurity, or similar Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
