Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Experience with prototyping and implementation
• SolidWorks CAD and design for manufacturing experience
• Ability to write technical documents and communicate concepts clearly
• Experience evaluating design and tradeoffs for hardware systems

Responsibilities

• Work with an interdisciplinary team from concept to production including specs, prototyping, validation and testing
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality teams and vendors for launches
• Write requirements, specs, design verification plans and test procedures
• Demonstrate thorough engineering analysis and cradle-to-grave ownership
• Design and adapt holistic hardware solutions for ambiguous problems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors and integrators to deliver automation solutions
• Create design of experiments and lead cross-functional automation efforts
