Qualifications

• Mechanical analysis including thermal, stress and fatigue testing.
• Proficiency with FEA tools (Ansys, Flo-EFD, ABAQUS, NASTRAN).
• 3D CAD and 2D drawings; tolerance testing; GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and review electro-mechanical assemblies; create CAD and simulations.
• Test product designs; develop testing processes and reliability studies.
• Design and build mechanical components for surgical vision systems; consider kinematics and materials.
• Prepare requirements, drawings and interface control documents.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, optics, software, firmware, and test teams.
• Source materials and support from vendors; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Support manufacturing and service teams with design transfers.
