Job summary

The candidate will review production standards, create verification procedures, and manage repair dispositions while driving continuous improvement in a high-stakes mechanical environment in Houston.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in heavy mechanical equipment industry, preferably oil and gas.
  • Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo) and product data management (Teamcenter).
  • Knowledge of API, ASME codes is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support during remanufacturing process and define acceptance test criteria for all product line.
  • Improve repair processes by defining new standards and processes.
  • Support repair dispositions and collaborate with Product Engineering to streamline processes globally.
  • Review production standards and procedures and participate in Design Verification Reviews.
  • Ensure conformance with API, ASME, and other standards; initiate ECR/ECN as needed.
