Job summary

HP, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Hardware Engineer to develop high-volume video conferencing products.

The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, conversion of concepts into scalable mechanical designs, and collaboration across industrial design, electrical, thermal, and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will create prototypes, coordinate testing, and iterate toward production-ready designs, contributing leadership across mechanical and thermal domains for scalable manufacturing

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 7–10 years experience.
• Experience across hardware development lifecycle and production-ready designs.
• Ability to translate concepts into functional prototypes and scalable designs.
• Strong 3D CAD skills and familiarity with manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Translate industrial design concepts into functional mechanical designs and prototypes.
• Use rapid-prototyping techniques (3D printing) to test and refine concepts.
• Develop mechanical designs for enclosures, subsystems, and assemblies for video conferencing products.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to assess system-level performance and tradeoffs.
• Lead prototypes, testing, feedback incorporation, and design iterations.
