Job summary

GRT Rubber - Falkville is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to complete assigned aspects of product design for the Engineered Solutions Group. You will contribute to engineering process control, documentation, and release processes within the Engineering department, and coordinate with production teams and customers.

Responsibilities include acting as project engineer and designer for assigned projects, planning completion dates, providing field support, and leading design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in mechanical design with CAD.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor, FEA, and laser scanning.
• Willingness to support build and installation phases hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Act as project engineer and product designer for assigned projects.
• Plan completion dates for engineering work in relation to projects.
• Provide field support for project assignments.
• Lead design reviews and manage documentation and ERP data where needed.
• Collaborate with production teams, customers, and vendors.
