Job summary

American Pacific Corporation seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support design, maintenance, and expansion of chemical manufacturing facilities. You will provide technical guidance to Maintenance and Operations for equipment troubleshooting and reliability improvements.

The role involves managing capital and maintenance projects, developing the Mechanical Integrity Program, and coordinating with internal teams and outside partners to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with chemical/manufacturing exposure preferred.
• Experience applying ASME/API codes and standards in equipment evaluations.
• Ability to lead capital, maintenance, and reliability projects across phases.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for safe, reliable plant operations and expansion.
• Design, evaluate, troubleshoot, and improve equipment and systems including tanks and pumps.
• Manage scopes, budgets, schedules, and documentation for projects from design to startup.
• Coordinate with outside firms, vendors, and other plant departments to deliver projects.
• Develop and implement the Mechanical Integrity Program and related procedures.
