Job summary

PCA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our International Falls, Minnesota Paper Mill to support operations and optimization projects. You will collaborate with multiple teams on energy, cost-saving initiatives, and operator training to enable smooth start-ups and future maintenance roles.

Requirements include a BS in mechanical engineering, U.S. work authorization, and a valid driver's license; co-op or intern experience in manufacturing is a plus, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a current valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operating support to departments, support groups, and hourly operations employees in optimization, energy, cost savings, technical and process studies, technology implementation and operator training.
• Assignments will include completion of projects and development activities to prepare for operation and maintenance positions.
• Work to enhance skill development while gaining orientation of various process areas.
