Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 10+ years in new product development, plastics, conveyor systems, design and validation.
• Strong design-for-manufacturing background.

• Excellent communication skills to simplify technical concepts across teams.
• Willingness to travel (<15%) internationally and domestically.

Responsibilities

• Innovate: Develop new materials and conveyance tech through testing and trials.
• Validate: Lead mechanical testing, failure analysis, and iterative improvements.
• Design: Create test methods and concepts in SolidWorks or Creo.
• Collaborate: Align requirements with global engineering peers.
• Execute: Coordinate manufacturing processes including molding, extrusion, machining.
• Engage: Travel to customer sites to understand real-world applications (<15%).

• Validate : Lead mechanical testing, failure analysis, and iterative improvements to de-risk new technology.
• Design : Create test methods and product concepts in SolidWorks or Creo, leveraging new material capabilities.
• Collaborate : Gather requirements and align with engineering peers across global teams.
• Execute : Coordinate manufacturing processes including injection molding, extrusion, and machining.
• Engage : Travel (<15%) to customer sites to understand real-world applications and environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s a plus)
• 10 plus years engineering experience in new product development, plastics, conveyor systems, part/system design, and validation/testing
• Strong design-for-manufacturing background
• Self-managed, creative problem-solver with high quality standards and urgency in execution
• Excellent communication skills to simplify technical concepts across diverse teams
• Willingness to travel (<15%) internationally and domestically
