Intralox is seeking an Application Engineer to join our ILOX US Horizontal Food Spiral Engineering team. • Apply engineering fundamentals to design, evaluate, and optimize conveyor and material-handling solutions in complex environments
• Partner with R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Sales to support customer projects and new applications
• Lead the technical execution of projects, including layout development, performance modeling, installation support, and post-installation validation
• Travel regionally (approximately 30–40%) to conduct audits, troubleshooting, system assessments, and customer training
• Develop clear technical documentation, presentations, and training materials for both internal and external audiences
• Provide structured, data-driven customer feedback to support product improvements and influence future development
• Participate in field testing, data collection, reliability assessments, and performance analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related Engineering field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience , ideally involving fieldwork, system design, troubleshooting, or customer-facing technical support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply engineering concepts in real-world settings
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work in customer manufacturing environments and build strong, trust-based relationships
