Job summary

Yaskawa America, Inc is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Medium Voltage Drives group in Franklin, WI. You will lead mechanical design tasks, create Solidworks models, and generate 2D drawings and BOMs to support product development and certification efforts.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mechanical design experience and strong knowledge of Solidworks and AutoCAD, with exposure to metal fabrication and welding processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design or related field desired.
• Proficient in Solidworks and AutoCAD for product development and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify Solidworks models for Medium Voltage Drives.
• Create 2D drawings and BOMs to company standards.
• Provide technical direction on design, certification, and tests.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and marketing teams.
