Job summary

Strativ Group is seeking a versatile Engineer to lead the full lifecycle of mission-critical hardware for industrial, aerospace, and defense applications. You will own from concept translation to hands-on assembly and environmental qualification of flight hardware.

Role demands strong electromagnetic intuition, precision mechanism design, and ability to drive cross-functional teams through rigorous testing and supplier collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience across full product lifecycle from ideation to production.
• Strong understanding of electromagnetic principles and load paths.
• Proficiency in sizing analysis for strength and fatigue of actuators.
• SolidWorks CAD experience with complex assemblies.
• ASME Y14.5 GD&T knowledge; ability to create high‑quality 2D drawings.
• Experience qualifying hardware to DO-160 and MIL-STD-810.
• Builder mindset; comfortable in lab and on the computer.

Responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous mission needs into actionable requirements for electromechanical systems.
• Design and iterate electromagnetic actuators and precision mechanisms.
• Develop rugged avionics enclosures with advanced thermal management and structural survivability.
• Architect test equipment and methodologies for formal hardware qualification to DO-160 and MIL-STD-810.
• Lead cross-functional teams through complex system integration and testing.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure conforming hardware and manage deviations.
• Own hands-on assembly, bring-up, and debugging of hardware prototypes.
