PrideNow is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (MEP) – Facilities to join our team in Cherry Hill, NJ or King of Prussia, PA. The role targets professionals with 5–15 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design, overseeing projects from concept through construction.

You will mentor staff, lead technical efforts, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will manage schedules, ensure quality construction documents, and engage with clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5–15 years of experience in mechanical/MEP engineering and design.
• Strong experience with HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• PE license required or ability to pursue one.
• Strong project coordination and management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Design and support HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and fire alarm systems for commercial, industrial, and educational facilities.
• Perform and review mechanical calculations, equipment selections, and system layouts.
• Design and evaluate hydronic systems, chilled and hot water piping, ductwork, and mechanical equipment.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, clients, and other disciplines.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Conduct site visits and field surveys as required.
• Assist with proposals and contribute to department growth initiatives.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (MEP) – Facilities to join our team in Cherry Hill, NJ or King of Prussia, PA. This position is ideal for a mechanical engineer with 5–15 years of experience designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

The successful candidate will oversee projects from concept through construction, provide technical leadership, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions for educational, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and other facilities.
