Packaging Corporation of America, a Fortune 500 company, seeks a Mechanical Engineer for its International Falls, Minnesota Paper Mill. This role supports operations with optimization, energy and process studies, and technology implementation.

You will work to develop operating expertise and readiness for maintenance positions as vacancies occur. The position requires a BS degree in mechanical engineering, eligibility to work in the United States, and a valid driver's license.

We are seeking applicants for a Mechanical Engineer in our International Falls, Minnesota Paper Mill. The International Falls facility is a White Paper Mill owned by Packaging Corporation of America.

Principle Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operating support to departments, support groups, and hourly operations employees in the areas of optimization, energy, cost savings, technical and process studies, technology implementation and operator training.
• Assignments will include completion of projects and development activities to prepare for operation and maintenance positions as vacancies occur.
• Work to enhance skill development while gaining orientation of various process areas.

Basic Qualifications

• BS Degree in mechanical engineering required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Co-op or Intern experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Compensation And Benefits

• Starting salary range for position: $86,000 to $127,200.
• Paid Vacation.
• Paid Holidays.
