Job summary

RTX is seeking engineers in Tucson, AZ to design structures and assemblies, draft per ASME Y14.5, and support development hardware procurement and testing. The role offers hands-on design experience in aerospace and defense projects.

You will manage suppliers, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to rapid design maturation while pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and maintaining the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore year by the start of Summer 2027.
  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
