Job summary

Koch Finishing Systems in Evansville, IN, seeks a Mechanical Engineering Intern to work with our engineering team on real-world projects, assisting in design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems.

You'll create drawings, collaborate with Sales, Estimating, Field Services, and Manufacturing, gaining exposure to product development while building technical and professional skills. This internship includes mentorship and potential for future full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software tools.
• Experience with CAD software, such as Inventor or AutoCAD, is preferred.

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside our engineering team on real-world projects. You will apply your engineering education to practical challenges while developing your technical and professional skills. You will also collaborate with Sales, Estimating, Field Services, and Manufacturing, gaining exposure to how engineering works with other areas of the business to deliver solutions for our customers.
