Job summary

GOTAFE is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Missouri to help develop project documents, calculations, and drawings in line with regulatory standards. You will assist with conceptual designs and coordinate with the design team under the project lead.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multiple disciplines, vendors, clients, and contractors, leveraging AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D tools to support project delivery while applying HVAC interest and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong interest in HVAC systems is preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
• Experience with 3D collaboration tools such as Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, and Assemble is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop project documents such as calculations, reports, construction drawings, and specifications in coordination with regulatory bodies and industry standards.
• Assist with the development of conceptual designs and coordinate with the design team under the direction of the project team lead.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and internal and external team members, including vendors, clients, and contractors.
