OTTO Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern for the Communications division for Summer 2027. You will create and revise 3D models or 2D drawings using CREO, build Bills of Materials, and issue Engineering Change Notices as part of a hands-on engineering team.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in mechanical engineering, entering junior or senior year, with 3D modeling experience, strong communication, and a desire to learn. This is an on-site internship with hourly compensation.

• Enrolled in a mechanical engineering program – going into junior or senior year.
• 3D Solid Modeling experience.
• Strong desire to learn.
• Good communication skills.
• 100% on-site.

Mechanical Engineer Intern will perform a variety of duties to support the Engineering team for the Communications Division.

Specifically, the Mechanical Engineer Intern will:

• Create and / or revise 3D models or 2D drawings using CREO
• Create Bills of Material
• Create Engineering Change Notices
• Assist with other related duties as required or assigned

What you’ll need to bring to the table:

• Enrolled in a mechanical engineering program – going into junior or senior year
• 3D Solid Modeling experience
• A strong desire to learn
• Good communication skills
• 100% on-site
