The intern will support the engineering staff in high energy laser test instrumentation operations and maintenance, and assist projects to enhance and operate a directed energy system integration laboratory. Candidates should be pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree with at least a 3.3 GPA, US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance; MATLAB, SolidWorks, and fabrication

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.3 (please list on resume).
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a project group.
• Experience with design, analysis and fabrication is a plus.
