Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Huntsville, AL to design and analyze mechanical and electromechanical systems for aviation, ground, and weapon platforms. You will develop robust designs and generate documentation for production and fielding.

The role requires an ABET-accredited ME degree, 5+ years’ experience, and eligibility for a SECRET clearance. Proficiency with SolidWorks and related tools is essential; Creo and advanced FEA tools are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 5+ years of related engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient mechanical designs using SolidWorks and SolidWorks Simulation.
• Generate engineering reports and perform analyses (FEA, CFD, thermal, vibration, Multiphysics).
• Create technical data packages up to Level III for new/modification designs.
• Support production through collaboration with project engineers, fabricators, and program managers.
• Assist reengineering tasks, modification work orders, and engineering change proposals.

Torch Technologies is seeking a **Mechanical Engineer** to join a team designing and developing mechanical and electromechanical systems for aviation, ground, and weapon platforms, including new designs and modifications to existing DoW systems.
