Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intermediate to support the TEAMS Next Facility Lifecycle Management contract on Redstone Arsenal, AL, for MDA FMS efforts. The role requires collaboration with government and contractor teams in a fast-paced environment.

The position demands 7+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or related field), a Master’s in Engineering, and a PE license. Occasional travel to multiple sites, including international locations, is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field
• Master’s Degree in Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in any U.S. state
• Ability to review Architect/Engineer (A/E) facility design plans, specifications, and contract documents as needed for various facilities

Responsibilities

• Hybrid work (government facility and telework, as required by customer) with up to 50% travel
• Review Engineering Design Documents for the FMS case support
• Prepare reports and document engineering design changes required for the design update
• Travel to construction sites (U.S. and international) for engineering support and QC
• Support the final system check-out for building systems and facilities at multiple sites
• Perform other duties as assigned
