We are always seeking skilled and adaptive people to become a part of KOA as we continue to grow and expand.#### About the RoleOur Minneapolis Team is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer-in-Training that will develop a diverse portfolio of mechanical engineering projects with a focus on the design, construction, and maintenance of complex mechanical systems. The successful candidate will utilize their experience to provide solutions to a diverse clientele that includes multinational industry leaders. Your day to day will include:* Participate in preparing drawing packages including 3D modeling, detailed plans, and specifications related to a wide variety of engineering projects* Analyze data and assist in developing engineering calculations for mechanical applications* Participate in preparing proposals, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents for mechanical and multidiscipline engineering projects* Participate in preparing detailed engineering reports and provide written and oral updates regarding the progress and completion of engineering projects* Participate in the performance QA/QC reviews throughout the design development process for assigned projects as well as projects under development by others* Assist in field surveys as required throughout the project life cycle#### About You* BS in Mechanical Engineering* 2+ years of experience in Mechanical and/or Industrial engineering design* Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software* Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail* Ability to collaborate with team members and clients in a multi-disciplined environment#### What We Offer* Annual base salary in the range of $65,000 – $85,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications* Comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, 401(k) with a company match* Additional benefits include Paid Time Off and Holidays* Professional Development and Growth Opportunities* Collaborative Work EnvironmentJoin our team and embark on a rewarding journey of professional growth and fulfillment within a dynamic growing company.
