Job summary

EPC STAFF is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager in Austin, TX. This direct hire role combines mechanical design and project management with hybrid work arrangements and full benefits, bonuses, and 401k match.

Qualified candidates will have a BS degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 3+ years of related experience, and may hold EIT or PE licensure or be pursuing it. Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Trane Trace is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSME or BSAE with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• EIT or PE certification (or in progress) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to produce and review construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical system construction documents.
• Perform technical design and quality control for HVAC projects.
• Conduct site visits and review shop drawings.
• Manage projects and coordinate with teams.

ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES/ HIGHLY EXPERIENCE

• Prepare mechanical system construction documents
• Technical design and quality control, mechanical system calculations, and layouts
• Production of construction documents, Construction administration, site visits, and shop drawing review
