Job summary

LeoForce seeks a Sr Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager in Irving, TX for a hybrid role focusing on HVAC systems design across commercial, institutional, and mission-critical facilities.

Candidates should have 3–5+ years in MEP, an EIT, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. You will coordinate disciplines, support construction administration, and help manage budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in HVAC systems design.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• EIT certification is required; PE license is a plus (or actively pursuing licensure).
• Experience with commercial, institutional, and mission-critical facilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience coordinating across multiple disciplines.
• Assist with conceptual designs, equipment selection, drawings, specifications, and energy modeling.
• Support construction administration including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to mechanical design for new construction and renovations.
• Prepare conceptual designs, equipment selection, construction drawings, specs, and energy models.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for code compliance and constructability.
• Support RFIs, submittal reviews, and site visits during construction.
• Monitor project quality, schedule, and budget.
• Engage with clients to understand design needs and develop solutions.
• Develop and enhance project management skills with senior engineers.

Sr Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3-5+ years of experience in the HVAC Systems Design. Successful candidate will possess experience in Commercial, Institutional, and Mission Critical Facilities, national codes, standards, and regulations.

• EIT certification required; PE license is a plus (or actively pursuing licensure)
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or higher)
• 4-8+ years of experience in the MEP industry
• Revit & AutoCAD Software proficiency
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience coordinating across multiple disciplines
• Contribute to the mechanical design process for new construction and renovation projects.
• Assist with conceptual designs, equipment selection, construction drawings, specifications, and energy modeling
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure code compliance, coordination, and constructability
• Support construction administration tasks, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site visits
• Help track project quality, schedule, and budget requirements
• Engage with clients to understand design needs and contribute to solution development
• Continue building technical and project management skills while working closely with senior engineers
