Job summary

Aleron is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III for a 100% on-site, contract role in Tualatin, OR. You will design, analyze, and release mechanical components and assemblies for semiconductor equipment, collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include prototype support, validation, and documentation, with a focus on ECNs and production handoffs. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of NX CAD use, Creo, Teamcenter PLM, and MATLAB/Simulink experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience
• 5+ years of mechanical design and drafting experience
• 3+ years of experience creating, processing, and releasing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
• 3+ years of experience supporting product development, design validation, or engineering projects
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience as outlined above

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze mechanical systems, assemblies, equipment, and packaging solutions
• Conduct feasibility studies, engineering analyses, and testing for new and modified designs
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities
• Create and maintain mechanical design documentation and release packages
• Collaborate with drafting teams to develop engineering drawings and packaging documentation
• Prepare, review, and release Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
• Provide technical direction and support to design and drafting personnel
