Job summary

Aleron is seeking a Process Technician I on a contract basis in Tualatin, Oregon. The role supports R&D operations by executing semiconductor chip tests, operating process equipment, and assisting engineers with process development activities.

Work in a cleanroom environment, perform technical experiments, document results, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes and enable new product development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year hands-on experience in manufacturing, laboratory, semiconductor, engineering, technical operations, or related environment.
• 1+ year experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint in a professional setting.
• 1+ year experience operating equipment, conducting testing, analyzing results, or supporting process-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tests and experiments to support process engineering and R&D initiatives.
• Set up, operate, and monitor processing and etch equipment.
• Execute chip testing activities including wafer cleaving, wet cleaning, and imaging processes.
• Collect, document, and analyze test results through records, charts, and reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to prioritize work and support process development activities.
• Monitor production activities and provide guidance to operators as needed.
