Job summary

A leading aerospace firm in Wilmington, Massachusetts is seeking a Full-time Mechanical Engineer III to join their team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical design, particularly for military applications. Responsibilities include designing structural components, creating detailed drawings, and working collaboratively within a multidiscipline team to ensure effective design integration. Qualified candidates must possess a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering and have at least 5 years of relevant experience. The position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a mechanical design role.
• Proficient with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with high temperature and high loading conditions.

Responsibilities

• Designing structural components for military applications.
• Creating Technical Data Packages including 3D drawings.
• Preparing mechanical and electro-mechanical detail drawings.
