Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III for an onsite role in Madison, WI. The contract is 12 months, with a pay range of $54/hr to $58/hr on W2.

The position focuses on designing SolidWorks 3D CAD models for regulated medical device systems, creating drawings and design controls documentation. Responsibilities include coordinating with electrical engineers, supporting design validation, and contributing to ongoing engineering activities.

Qualifications

• BS or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a mechanical engineer (7+ preferred).
• SolidWorks 3D CAD design experience with mechanical drawings and complex assemblies.
• Familiarity with CAE tools for stress/strain and impact analysis; knowledge of statistical tolerance analysis.
• Experience with medical device design and requirements; machine automation preferred.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer III

Location: Madison, WI - 100% Onsite

12 Months Contract

Pay Range: $54/hr to $58/hr on W2

Job Details:

• Design and develop complex Solidworks 3D CAD models for mechanical systems used in a regulated industry.
• Create mechanical drawings and design controls documentation to support engineering requirements and compliance needs.
• Help develop medical device automation from concept through design, integration, and verification, including mechanisms, actuators, guarding, structures, and ongoing continuing engineering activities.
• Design and analyze mechanical parts and manage complex product assemblies in Solidworks.
• Collaborate closely with electrical engineers to develop tightly-integrated, compact electromechanical solutions and support engineering analysis and design validation testing phases.

What's Needed?

• BS or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a mechanical engineer (7+ preferred).
• Complex Solidworks 3D CAD design experience, including mechanical drawings and the ability to manage complex product assemblies.
• Familiarity with CAE tools for stress/strain and impact analysis, plus knowledge of statistical tolerance analysis.
• Experience with medical device design and requirements preferred; experience with machine automation preferred.
