Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent.
• Associate degree with 2+ years of experience and certifications (machinist or CNC operator).
• 5+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• CAD design experience using Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar tools; ability to create and interpret drawings; tolerancing practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for the production rollout.
• Create and modify CAD designs and technical drawings as production needs evolve.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure and manufacture parts.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers for components such as gaskets, wiring, and other mechanical parts.
• Assist with environmental testing activities.
• Establish inventory structures for new parts and assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and assembly issues.
• Travel to assembly and production locations as needed.
• Document industrial processes and communicate technical information clearly in written and spoken form.
