Job summary

Faith Technologies Incorporated in Monroe, Louisiana is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to perform mechanical design for power system products under supervision. Proficiency in PC, MS Office, and SolidWorks is required. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (or an Associate’s with 6 years); 3+ years of related experience.

Travel 5-10%. Onsite relocation training to other facilities for 3 months may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive engineering experience.
• Alternate: Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Technology with 6 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Guides Level 1 engineers and designers.
• Converts prototype designs into mechanical systems.
• Performs calculations for system cooling design.
• Discusses designs with customers and internal teams.
• Ensures designs meet specifications, codes and requirements.
• Inspects installations for conformance to design and equipment specifications.
• Compiles data and writes reports on engineering studies.
• Contributes to creation of technical manuals.
• Operates CAD software and related tools to perform tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
