In-Finite Search Solutions seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to design, develop, and continually improve power distribution products, including eHouse systems, switchgear, and transfer switches. You will take concepts through production and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance and manufacturability goals.

You will create 3D CAD models and drawings, perform calculations and tolerancing, and drive design reviews.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 4-8 years of mechanical design or product engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or similar 3D CAD platforms.
• Experience creating and reviewing engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Mansioni

• Design and develop mechanical systems, assemblies, and components for power distribution and electrical infrastructure products.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation.
• Drive product enhancements based on customer needs, manufacturing feedback, quality initiatives, and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analyses, and design reviews to ensure reliability and performance.
• Partner closely with electrical, manufacturing, and project engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support development and implementation of engineering standards, templates, and best practices.
• Promote consistency in design methodologies, documentation, and modeling techniques.
• Participate in peer reviews and design reviews to ensure engineering quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and engineering efficiency.
• Maintain engineering specifications, standard details, and design guidelines.
• Investigate product, manufacturing, and field performance issues and develop effective engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to improve manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
• Lead engineering change requests and product updates.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions that improve product quality and reliability.
• Work across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and project management teams to achieve project goals.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the organization.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
