Job summary

Enflite is seeking a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer to research, design, develop, and substantiate systems used in executive jet interiors. You will guide junior engineers, tackle complex technical challenges, and lead product design using Inventor while ensuring alignment with requirements.

The role requires strong documentation, cost estimation, and cross-functional collaboration with hardware, firmware, and certification teams. It is an on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 4–10 years’ experience in aerospace preferred (oil field equipment, robotics or automation equipment).

Responsibilities

• Guides and trains junior engineers on engineering change order documentation.
• Solves moderate to complex technical challenges.
• Leads new product design using Inventor for complex products.
• Creates technical proposals and cost estimates for customers.
• Develops test plans and evaluation activities to align design with requirements.

Job Details: Job Location: Georgetown, TX 78626, Enflite believes that each employee makes a significant contribution to our success. Position Overview:

Research, design, develop and substantiate mechanical, thermal, and/or electromechanical systems used in executive jet interiors.

Essential Functions:

• Guides, trains junior Engineers on the proper company Engineering Change Order documentation.
• Solves moderate to complex technical challenges.
• Performs and/or leads new product design using Inventor of our most complex products.
• Creates technical proposals and costs estimates for our customers.
• Develops test plans, evaluates results, validation and verification efforts to align design with requirements.
• Support builds on the production floor.
• Create, check and approve manufacturing document packages including drawing and work instructions.
• Tracks project with compliance matrix, manpower schedules. Reporting project progress to management.
• Collaborates effectively with hardware, firmware and certification engineers.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels in the company, with customers and suppliers.

• Skilled with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Powerpoint, Outlook)
• Skilled with 3-D modeling and 2-D drafting using Inventor in a Solidworks PDM vault.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations to substantiate a design
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, firmware requirements, FMEA, FHA, SSA documents.
• Knowledge of aviation material specifications and standard hardware specifications to comply with strength, flammability and other performance requirements.

Qualifications: Education, Certifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• 4-10 years’ experience in aerospace preferred. Oil field equipment, robotics or automation equipment.
