Job summary

North Atlantic Industries is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to contribute to the design, development, and improvement of mechanical systems and components for rugged embedded solutions. You will work to ensure reliability, manufacturability, and performance across products used in military, aerospace and industrial markets.

Responsibilities include prototyping, testing, tolerancing, FEA/CFD analyses, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet design goals and ensure proper

Qualifications

• BSME with strong understanding of electronics and electronic components.
• Strong drafting experience and CAD proficiency (Inventor/SolidWorks).
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 and IPC standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create prototypes and conduct testing to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with testing and quality assurance to ensure specifications and standards.
• Work with engineers and stakeholders to ensure mechanical integration of components within the product.
