Atec, Inc. in Texas seeks a Mechanical Engineer to perform, direct, and coordinate design, analysis, fabrication, operation, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems.

You will review SOWs, design components, run FEA/CFD, direct fabrication, ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO and customer specs, and contribute to proposals. Extended hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Experience with SolidWorks, ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation, and CFD tools.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and MS Office software suites.

Responsabilités

• Review SOWs, specs, and manuals to ensure requirements are met for new designs and analyses.
• Design components of mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or related systems.
• Prepare layouts, drawings, and schematics for products.
• Perform FEA/CFD analyses and other engineering calculations.
• Direct fabrication/testing of hardware and participate in product testing.
• Coordinate fabrication and installation to meet standards and customer specs.
• Assist in developing quotes and technical proposals.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO policies and procedures.
