Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to design, develop, test, and certify complex mechanical systems for aerospace and defense. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure performance and quality, using CAD and CAE tools, and to prepare technical documentation.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering, 2+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. Hybrid work options may be available.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience or related role.
• Proficient understanding of mechanical design principles and CAD/CAE tools.
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary design teams and communicate clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for defense applications.
• Conduct analyses and simulations to validate and optimize designs.
• Generate engineering drawings for fabrication and integration.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to integrate designs into systems.
• Ensure designs meet standards and program requirements.
