KONE is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to lead elevator modernization efforts, planning, designing and improving mechanical aspects of equipment. You will support installation and collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines to improve quality, efficiency and reliability.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience and a BS in Mechanical Engineering. This role is based in Moline, IL with flexible location options within the US.

As a Mechanical Engineer II, you will work on elevator modernization projects for the purpose of planning, designing and/or developing products, machines and other mechanical improvements. Will also support installation of such equipment. You will also work closely with other engineering disciplines in the development and application of designs to improve product quality, efficiency and reliability. You will bring 5+ years of progressive and successful experience (maybe entry level for candidates with a master’s degree). You will use your knowledge gained through your Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
