Job summary

KONE is seeking a District Field Trainer for the Great Plains Region. In this role, you will provide high-level field training and guidance to support the rollout of development projects.

You will ensure that installation and modernization projects are delivered safely and efficiently while resolving technical challenges. Candidates should have a strong background in leadership and technical skills, along with the willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive industry experience with management, coaching, and training.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75% domestically).
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and financial principles.

Job Overview: Are you ready to make your next career move to join our team as our District Field Trainer for KONE Americas in KONE Great Plains Region?

Responsibilities

As our District Field Trainer, you will successfully provide high-level field training and guidance to support the rollout of development projects, initiatives, and critical strategies, strengthening field capabilities across the organization. You’ll ensure field crews deliver installation and modernization projects safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with procedures, codes, and quality standards while resolving complex technical challenges and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications
  • Do you enjoy leading and coordinating installation methods and process training?
  • Does providing structured feedback to Installation Innovation & Enablement leadership on required improvements motivate you?
  • Do you thrive in areas where you drive cross-functional collaboration with multiple different teams within a company?
  • Do you have working knowledge of safety, environmental regulations, and general financial/accounting principles?
  • Do you demonstrate a passion for strong leadership, change sponsorship, coaching, and team building capabilities?
  • Are you an effective communicator with strong presentation, persuasion, and technical interpretation skills?
  • Proven ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, projects, and resources to achieve outcomes.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 75% or more, domestic and occasionally international).
  • Frontline labor operations management / IUEC field foreman or installation experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive and successful industry experience with progressive experience in management, coaching, and training.
  • Knowledge gained through a bachelor’s degree, or 5 years of elevator‑escalator industry experience plus additional experience in frontline operations management or IUEC field foreman installation experience.

Annual Base Pay Range

The hiring range for this role in Kansas City location is $126,600 – $166,215. The compensation package offered will depend on candidate’s ability to meet the requirements of the role, needs for the business strategy, and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.

We will also consider candidates in the following areas. Below are the different ranges applicable to those locations:

  • Omaha area hiring range: $120,300 – $157,920
  • Minneapolis area hiring range: $135,500 – $177,870
  • Quad Cities area hiring range: $120,300 – $157,920
Variable Compensation

KONE Annual Bonus plan at 15% Target Incentive (60/40) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
