Job summary

Faith Technologies Inc is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to perform mechanical design for power system products under the supervision of an upper level engineer or Engineering Team Leader at the Corporate Engineering Manager level. The ideal candidate must be proficient with a PC, MS Office, and SolidWorks.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of related experience or an Associate's in Mechanical Technology with 6+ years.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of progressive engineering experience.
  • Associate’s degree in Mechanical Technology with at least 6 years of progressive engineering experience.
  • Travel: 5–10% and work hours 7 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Provides guidance to Level 1 Engineers and Designers.
  • Converts prototype designs into commercially viable mechanical systems.
  • Performs detailed calculations to design for system cooling requirements.
  • Discusses existing or potential product designs with internal and external customers.
  • Ensures designs comply with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
  • Inspects completed installations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications.
  • Compiles data and writes reports regarding existing and potential engineering studies and projects.
  • Contributes to creation of technical manuals.
  • Operates computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform tasks.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

The Mechanical Engineer II is responsible for performing mechanical design for power system products, under the direct supervision of an upper level Engineer or Engineering Team Leader as assigned by the Corporate Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite and Solidworks knowledge is required.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience: At least 3 years of progressive engineering related experience
  • Education: Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Technology Experience: 6 years of progressive engineering related experience
  • Travel: 5-10%
  • Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisors as deemed appropriate.
