Job summary

SNC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to design and develop mechanical components and systems for aerospace and defense projects. You’ll assist in test planning, analyses, and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 0–2+ years of experience. Hybrid office environment with opportunities for travel and career growth in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 0-2+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Basic CAD understanding and use of CAD/CAE tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing mechanical components and systems.
• Support creation and execution of test plans for mechanical products.
• Perform basic analyses and simulations to validate designs.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports for review.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design requirements are met.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design and testing issues.
