Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Contract Mechanical Engineer for an onsite role in Plainville, MA. You will interact with installing contractors, perform field execution of commissioning documents, and generate field reports, punch lists, and final turnover packages.

You will assist in Tech Transfers, manage small projects, and ensure compliance with cGMP and SOPs while addressing utility and equipment issues during production. This is a temporary assignment with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience with HVAC operations, electrical distribution, and environmental chambers.
• Experience with compressed gases, WFI, purified water, clean steam generation, and biosafety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interact with installing contractors and perform field execution of commissioning documents.
• Generate field reports, punch lists, and final turnover packages.
• Assist in Tech Transfers of new products into the manufacturing facility.
• Manage small operational projects.
• Ensure work complies with cGMP regulations and SOPs.
• Address utility and equipment issues during production.
• Assist in annual revalidation efforts.
• Develop requirements for new equipment and modifications.

• Manage small operational projects

• Respond to utility and equipment related issues during production
• Act asResponsibleEngineer for utility system(s)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
